la mine nu cred ca e cazul, la megan, si am inteles ca si pe la dacii se infiltra pe la difuzoare, eu pe spate nu am asa ceva.

I have a nearly new (11 month old) SEAT Toledo.

One of the rear doors fills up with water whenever it rains - large amounts of it sloshing around.

Pulling the rubber door seal over the drainage holes (it seems to be covering them) releases the water which literally comes gushing out.

The SEAT dealer, under warranty, have offered to "unblock" the drainage, which I suspect may mean bending the seal a little so that it isn't sitting over the drainage holes.

However, no one seems concerned that this amount of water is running through the inside of the door in the first place (after half an hour of heavy rain, I can get about a pint out of the bottom of the door).

Is it correct that this amount of water should be travelling through the inside of the door? Or should I be pushing to get the window seals replaced so that it isn't getting in there in the first place?


The inside of the doors will always get wet with rain water or washing the car as they are deemed a "wet area" by VAG. Replacing the glass seals won't stop water ingress as they don't create a positive seal, maybe slow it down a little if they are faulty, but not stop water entering.

Possibly the drain holes in the bottom of the door are either partially blocked by wax sealant or the lower door apature seal is out of line pushing it over the actual door seal and covering the drains ? If it's only effecting one door there has to be a reason why as the other doors are fine yes ?

E clar, usor de rezolvat daca cumva apare apa. La mine momentan e uscat, ieri chiar am prins o ploaie urata rau.

Azi am fost la RAR sa scot cartea masinii. Dip MNotors a platit cei 196 lei.

Reprezentanta dacia plateste oare RAR-ul ?

Da, si dacia plateste RAR-ul. Eu am luat cartea masinii cu folia pusa de rar direct de la dacia in 2 saptamani parca.

si nu ai avut factura cu costuri de inmatriculare? la dacia tot se factureaza. si aerul din rezervor. cica e de mioveni de la munte -> continut ridicat de O2

Nu am primit nici o factura. Doar am luat cartea masinii si ceva cerificat de conformitate.

Nici eu n-am platit nimic si nu am mers nicaieri,folia era pusa de ei direct de la Dacia in 2007.

in 2011,2013 si 2014 cartea am primit`o porno! pt folia de secretizare am mers eu la rar, dar nu a fost pe lovele! altceva nu am avut de facut la rar.
